Initially I wanted to say no on behalf of CAR but again they just lost Pacioretty for the season most likely. I guess if you put Pacioretty's contract in the deal (LTIR anyway) that way CAR won't be in VGK situation. And lower retention to 2 M on Voracek.

CBJ aren’t OSing Durzi for that much.

Jiricek won’t be on the team this year, plus he plays on the right side.

If Jake is moved, we aren’t getting a 1st. Flat cap is too prohibitive right now. Also not sure they’d make that move in-division - CBJ may not be contenders, but they are at least hoping to be competitive for a WC spot.

I can’t see the Canes making that move. Voracek is a great playmaker, but he isn’t the best replacement for losing Patches because he is a playmaker. The Canes brought in Patches because he is a goal scorer. Someone like Bertuzzi or JVR would be a more ideal replacement of Patches. Canes pass.
