Armia doesn't have positive value. Why give up on Primeau? That Weegar contract will age really poorly as the Habs continue to not be a playoff team for the next 3-5 years

No idea what the ask was when the Anderson trade rumours were swirling this offseason. But the Habs are really going to regret not ditching that contract when they had the chance.

The answer was no before even seeing what the Devils gave up for Anderson.

Armia has positive value for sure, one season doesn’t rank a players value. That Weegar deal will be fine, 7 years for one of the best Dmen in the league, 28 years old. Habs will be a playoff team within 2 years. This isn’t giving up on Primeau, it’s adding to what we have, Allen won’t be around long.
