1) Severson will cost more, closer to $6.25, just due to rarity. I won't say it will be a good contract, buy UFAs rarely are.

2) Philly would be straight dumb to make that trade to then give the Devils that 1st in Severson trade as Philly could still be trash as they need to rebuild. Their analytics are baaahd and will not sustain this.

Severson trade looks plausible in value, but with NJ playing better than expected, I don't know if we end up selling.
