Man, I have always liked Dach a lot. I know he's not available, but I do wish Colorado could have pulled off a trade with the Hawks. That was a steep asking price though, and one I don't think the Avs would have been willing to beat.

I hope he continues his production this season and can bolster a cup team at the deadline. Anything can happen. But right now, I don’t think it’s realistic to assume a guy on a 55 pt pace is going to return a 2023 1st as a pure rental. Especially when you consider his very recent injury history.

Let’s cross our fingers that he can continue to string together healthy and productive games though, seems like a good dude. But it’s far from a hot take to say a his market probably isn’t a 1st. I wish Montreal fans could cool it on this lol.
