Description
Idk what Boeser’s price is right now but pick 33-35 and an okay prospect seems about right right now.

If LA gets their LD upgrade then Walker should definitely be available with all the RHD they have. He’d be 3RD for next season after finishing this year in the top 4.

Guys on LTIR are traded at TDL.

I feel like @oldnyifan might help us out by agreeing to the Walker deal, but nobody else is going to unfortunately.

I'd take that Van trade in a heartbeat, I doubt Ana would do that though. That 2nd is basically a late first

I don’t know what his price will be. I don’t think it’s a 1st but a late 2nd seems too light. Personally I’d take Boeser over that 2nd but that because I don’t wanna watch this team be this bad for another season or 2 and I think Boeser will score goals again wherever he goes. He’s just run his course in VAN.

I still hope he can fetch a high pick, but his value was already at an all-time low during this season and the drama with being healthy scratched and his team being given permission to talk to other teams dropping his value immensely. Not to mention that the organization willing to move him just to clear up cap.

The problem for Vancouver is how many teams can take a 6.6M AAV contract from them without sending a bad contract back the other way. Some, but not that many and the Ducks would be in that bunch. That's a big edge for the Ducks in negotiations over other teams and because of that I do think a later 2nd could get it done.

That said, I don't like Boeser's contract. I understand why Vancouver gave him 6.6M but that's more than I'd want to pay him by at least 1M. Honestly I'd rather get Garland.
