I don’t see how it couldn’t be. My biggest fear is that they’re in on Horvat. Would be great but this team is still 2 top 6 players away after that.

Could be a trade coming.....I think the most exciting thing is seeing what the market is going to look like. With so many playoff bound teams cap strapped it will be very interesting to see if prices for rentals/trades are down from years past or if they continue to rise.

As much as I'd love Horvat, he'd just be a rental unless we clear significant cap space this offseason. The more I think about it the more I'd prefer Dumba is moved for picks/prospects with an NHL defenseman coming back. That would allow us to either acquire a rental if Guerin is convinced this team deserves one, give us ammo to acquire a forward in the offseason, or just keep stocking up the prospect pool.
