Why would any team trade an expiring deal and a first round pick for Cam Atkinson? Dude just missed the entire season due to injury. Also worth mentioning the cost to dump bad contracts like Zaitsev and McGinn cratered at the deadline. I think the isles can probably ship bailey off with a mid round pick because the alternative is overpaying a guy like Ryan Strome in free agency.
