Well that's a choice that should get Jarmo fired. As bad as people may think the Gudbranson contract is, it expires before they need to extend Jiricek or any potential pick from this upcoming draft. Not only would OEL be a major burden on their cap situation going forward, you have them also giving away one of their best RD prospects to take on that horrid contract.

Canucks take that and run. Rutherford and Allvin should be run out of town if it ever came out that this offer was on the table and they declined.
