Canucks decline. The reported ask for Demko was a 1st, blue chip prospect, and Raty-like prospect. You have a 1st but are missing the other pieces. Pens most likely don't have the pieces to trade for Demko as they don't have a blue chip prospect outside of maybe Pickering (depending on how the Canucks view him).

Thatcher Demko would get more than a single 1st round pick, Plus no reason for the Nucks to move him.
