Description
Not really sure how much value Schmaltz carries right now, but Timoth should carry a good deal of his own, and he would be the only (important) roster player moved in that trade.
Could see Robbie and/or the BOS 1st going as well if we need to add.

Goalie market is always weird, Sammy might only fetch an early 2nd because of that so I just included a pick swap to entice the moving of PGHs 1st. The pick would be top-10 protected

Samsonov as a RFA, and you're trading for his rights doesn;t get a 1st and more. Better off just offer sheeting him if the Leafs dont re-sign him. And Liljegren Is showing that hes no sure thing in the top 4 after 4 pro seasons and even scratched in this years playoffs, I don’t think ARZ gives Schmaltz for him. Timmins isnt even getting dressed. McMann is a 4th liner? Even with ROR back there, that bottom 6 is pretty weak.

And you actually think Murray is going to stay healthy enough to even be a backup? Leafs have to stop ignoring the goal position, because the tandem you have above is just bad.

Youve probably underpaid ROR and this team is just worse than this years, without enough cap space to really pay Matthews/Nylander AND replace Broadie AND get a capable goalie in 24/25.

So AZ sends the Leafs a player who slides into the Leafs top 6 for a D man who has barely scratched the line up since the trade deadline? AZ declines. Schmaltz is worth a lot more than Lilypad.
