Not including a pick to take on mantha, that Colorado trade is just awful for Arizona. Girard is not the type of D Armstrong wants at all, you’re adding retention, and a pick swap? Brutal.

Girard would be Arizona's best defenseman. Not much lighter than Moser and Soderstrom but lot better

I’ll take valimaki, he took over the top role just fine from chychrun and played at a 55 point pace. Valimaki-söderstrom and moser-kesselring are perfectly fine for your bottom 2 pairings, girard isn’t a top 2 defenseman, the fit just isn’t there especially at that price. We’re short a top pair.
