Nylander > Bratt and if Nylander was willing to sign for 7 x $8,750,000 he'd be staying in Toronto Try closer to $9,500,000 x 8 yrs for Nylander if not more.

This does seem like an odd move for either team though. Bratt's been really good for you guys. Lock him up and build with him. Nylander is further ahead and fits the Leafs window better.
