Before you comment on how I have 4 Panthers in my top 10, I've had this list in my mind and was going to post over the winter but never got around to it. The only recency bias in my listing is Montour because of the stellar season he finished off with and the playoff run he's on.

I don’t think Barkov or Draisaitl are underrated. I think most people realize how great they are

I hope so lol. I had both on them on my list because I think they don't get enough praise as they should. I guess maybe they shouldn't be "underrated", maybe more of underappreciated. But Draisaitl gets outshined by McDavid and Barkov plays in a "dress as a seat night" market prior to the last couple seasons in Florida. Plus now that Tkachuk is there, he's the main box office pull for south Florida. If you know you know, but I still think both of them deserve more praise. Draisaitl being a top 5 player and Barkov being debatably that as well, but at worst top 10.

Yea I understand your reasoning but to me it’s hard to call a guy making 10 mil a season underrated. Or justify Draisaitl is as well since when you think Oilers you think McDavid and Draisaitl. But the RNH is spot on! He doesn’t get enough credit!

No one underrates Draisaitl, he's a terrific player but if anything gets overrated due to the extra 20-30 points a year he gets due to playing with McDavid. Take away mcDavid and he won't be talked about the same way. It's the same for RNH and Hymen as well. RNH got 100 points off the coattails of better players, take him away from McDavid and Draisaitl and he may not even be a 60 point player.
