Hawks pass. It's a very hard sell to take on Mantha. He's a cap dump OR change of scenery player. Maybe MTL and either Armia/Hoffman? Picks might need to be added to smooth things out, but Hawks aren't a good spot for him.

This trade improves the Blackhawks 3rd line. Both Mantha and Snively (you probably don't know him) could thrive on a team like Chicago, who for next year at least have lower expectations. Also, I can't believe that an original six team would sweat 6 million for 1 year either.
