Description

I am not pro-Towes but if the Avs cannot afford him, where is there a team that A - Needs a legit top 20 D-man, can afford him and had a 2C asset they can afford to pay. Buffalo is one of the few teams that meets that criteria. This trade assumes a contract extension for Toews.

I love the idea of Yegor and I think given his play style, he could be a great fit on the LW for the Avs.

Finally, I want to keep a little cap room for either Kovalenko or a trade near the end of the season.
