Every other Isles fan is offering a 2nd with Bailey but you're only offering a 3rd. Hawks walk away from discussions if that 3rd doesn't become a 2nd.

Lmaoo notice how you said "every other Isles FAN" . The fans are a lot of times wrong and in this scenario I could see a team taking a 3rd for bailey as his contract is 1 year, he could still be an veteran asset for a young team that needs to get to the cap floor, and he is due less money then his actual cap hit

Canes pass. Only intriguing thing in that deal is JGP, but even still, for a smaller 3C with a 5M cap hit I’m not sure how interested Canes would be. Certainly not for a first and a third. Can use those assets for much better options.
