Just need some patience, it's only been 4 years of Yzerman. Holland left this team completely effed and only hit on 2 picks in 3 years of non playoff drafting.

CHI maybe accepts. It's a fine price for a former 6th overall pick reclamation project. But i'm not sure CHI is the team for a trade like that.

I have been patient. Yzerman has been here 4 years and the team is still terrible and nowhere near a playoff team. His drafting has been questionable at best. Seider was a homerun, and Raymond is a 2nd liner at this point, but other than them, his drafting hasn't been as stellar as some people seem to think.

DeBrincat fell into our laps, but Yzerman couldn't get the trade done, and now we are going into next season with Larkin and a bunch of 3rd liners. He drafted a guy with a ceiling of a 3C at 9th overall in the deepest draft in a decade. Danielson was such a low-risk, boring pick. Yzerman loves his 3rd liners, so he drafted another one in the top 10 this year. Nobody ever questions him because he's "Steve Yzerman". All we ever hear is "trust the YZERPLAN" and "patience is key". I think it's time he puts the bong down and actually builds a team that is worth watching. Should be fun next year with Kubalik and Perron on our 1st line lol

Yes. Managers around the NHL have been improving their teams for a week now. What has Yzerman done? He drafted a guy with a 3rd line ceiling at 9th overall, and traded for Yamamoto. The Wings are already one of the softest teams in the NHL, if not the softest. Good thing we added 5'7 Yamamoto to the mix! Then today he added a bunch of 6'4 plugs who will never come close to sniffing the NHL. How about draft some skill for once?
