Description

Doing something realistic for OTT fans. I'd still do this in a heart beat if it could really work. The terms on both contracts can be plus or minus a few years if needed. But Pinto is worth way more than the 2mil he's being given in majority of the armchairs. Ditto on Tarasenko and the 4million.

Absolute minor details to the point of this team, but in his 35 game CHI career he posted better numbers than your two current goalies, so...

Chicago does not want to be more competitive. Chicago doesn't need a backup goalie, they have 1. And they are set at forward going into the season.

Average backup goalies dont get seconds and 3rd lines that cap out at 20 points dont get seconds either. Clearing 5+ million in cap for multiple years will cost you though.

As mentioned neither of these two guys fill a need for the Hawks, so I don’t see them trading away draft assets to acquire them.
