And Hanifin isn't Draisaitl either. Terry is going to get north of 7.5M on his next deal, he is worth more

So first, Terry is good but not 7.5M per year good quite yet…check stats from 3 years ago…soon! Second, my notes say Terry bets on himself and takes a decent 1-year deal as shown, and he plays well with Huberdeau and/or Lindholm and/or Kadri…and then hopes for $7.5M+ long contract starting in 2024-25. OR…. If not….change what in this deal? Add a draft choice on each side and Flames dump some salary?

I can’t tell if this is trolling or you really think this - your posts get more wild by the day.

Why would the ducks, a rebuilding team who has a strong d pipeline trade for hanifin who is a UFA in a year that they certainly won’t extend due to their timeline? Then factor in Terry being a stud, and under team control long term, your valuation is maybe even further off than fit on this trade. Truly remarkable.
