The only problem with this team, I that we have way too much bottom 6 fowards, and we have prospect ready to get some minutes, so the lineup could be so different, I think it will all depend of the training camp and how well the young guys plays, we could see Lysell, Beecher, merkulov and maybe poitras, and on defense regula, lohrei and Walsh

This team is still too good to tank, you're probably not even getting your top 10 protected pick back with this team.

You'd have to get rid of Marchand or Pasta and McAvoy or Lindholm.

People forgot that the most blah and boring team of 15-16, after they traded away everyone, still finished 9th and were just barely squeezed out of the playoffs.

Tanking is not an option with this team currently constructed without selling off MAJOR pieces.

Isles aren't trading Dufour. If they are, it'll be for someone better than DeBrusk (and I like DeBrusk very much).

Is BOS expecting a huge turn around in 2025 to do something like this, because otherwise that pick becomes unprotected and if the Bruins are a 10th worst team next year...why would they be much better the following?
