I think Nylander can absolutely play center at the NHL level, but he shouldn’t in Toronto. Tavares is elite on face offs so moving him away from center is going to hurt the leafs more than it helps them imo.

Per Leafs fans...not only can play the #1C, but also the #1RW, #1RD, and Goalie at the same time all at once...and that's the trade value we expect for him.

Agreed. They tried this years ago, and it was a colossal fail. It would be a sheer act of desperation to have him play the middle.

Why the guy isn't worth what he thinks he is worth.

Sébastien Aho should be on Treliving's Christmas card list. That contract should put Nylander's value in perspective.
