Moving on from Mark

1. Pinto is best accustomed as a 3rd line centre because that's his "bread and butter".


2. Ottawa does not need to upgrade at centre, so there's no need for Scheifele.


3. Ottawa does not need more LD depth and if you want to get Logan Stanley closer to home, I suggest trading him to the Leafs.

As a Sens fan this wouldn't make sense... Already dealing with cap issues and this would put them way over, and wouldn't be able to afford Scheifele extension, also would put a log jam at center with 3 guys who are all potential 1st line centers (Stützle, Norris and Scheifele)

in my opinion you have a better chance at getting Norris than Pinto. Pinto is a lot cheaper right now (AVV) and is still a RFA so fits perfectly for the 3C role as of now. Norris making $8m a year wouldn't be bad to move on from considering he is coming back from a significant injury and Stützle took over the 1C while he was injured (was a matter of time). Also, this would avoid the log jam this way as it would most likely be Stützle 1C and Scheifele 2C.

Ottawa already has there Scheifele in Giroux. They do not need more veterans on the team. This team is going to be moving up the rankings pretty soon with what they have. They could possibly need an upgrade in Goal, but time will tell if Korp can handle it.
