Although I was hoping it would be Morrissey, Lowry was a close 2nd choice! Congrats Low's! It's quite clear how much of a leader he is in that WPG dressing room. This Captain selection remind me of CBJ and Boone Jenner. Maybe not the most skilled guy on the team but he's the motor that keeps it running and again, a true leader.

I like it. The moment he dropped the gloves against Reaves was the moment he cemented the captaincy. That wasnt the only time he did but it was one of those "you F with my teammates, you F with me" moments that I still love about hockey

Good move IMO. Obviously I'm not in the room or anything but I think the off-ice impacts with this Jets team are going to improve with the subtractions of Wheeler and PLD. I think they can end up in the 2-3 spot in the Central and make a run. Good, balanced team.
