Buffalo says no. You don't trade your franchise defenseman. If Buffalo wanted Zegs, maybe Krebs and a lottery protected 1st might be more long the lines.

Anaheim players don’t check enough of buffalos needs in the deal, no brainer for Anaheim and have a franchise dman for a decade, but if Buffalo makes the deal, they need a 100 point player that signs for 7 million ish long term, and a sure fire dman that could cover top 4 for 5/7 years. No guarantees on either, be quite the gamble, possibly job losing gamble.
