I don't think the Hawks have interest in trading Raddysh this year unless the return is really compelling. Not saying this is a fair deal on paper, but don't think this motivates the Hawks to let Raddysh go.

It's going to be a tough call. I do think TRad gets traded to the highest bidder. I'm just not convince he's a long term piece 5 years from now on the Hawks. He needs a kick in the pants or this might actually be the return he gets. YES, his cap hit is below league minimum...so there will be no shortage of teams to trade with, but he's got to play a bit better.

Can't see the Hawks having much interest in Poulin. Make it two 2nd's and the Hawks probably accept.

I don't disagree at all. I just think at this moment, the Hawks need him more then they need a late 2nd, a couple of late 3rds and Poulin who has bust written all over him after his first two pro seasons.

I think the value to teams wanting to add a middle 6 winger who's on a cheap cap hit and put up 20 goals last season is simply going to be better than this. That said, a late 2nd is fine if a better prospect is involved, a good prospect on his own, or a late 1st.

Hawks are not doing this unless TRad has a down year relative to last season's breakout. I suspect TRad will match last season if not surpass it getting 16 minutes a game with PP and PK. The thing is, the Hawks have plenty of draft capital and these picks are middling relative to what they already have. 13 1st or 2nd rounders the next 3 drafts kind of diminishes what the Pitts 2nd means to the Hawks and 17 in the first 3 rounds does the same on the 3rds. The Hawks have made a LOT of picks the last couple of drafts with a lot more coming in the next 3 and at some point there are only so many contract slots and roster spots in the AHL and NHl to place all those picks. Hawks are much more interested in quality at this point than quanity.

Counter offer is TRad and Vancouver 2nd for the Pitts '24 1st (top 10 protected) otherwise the Hawks are waiting to the deadline and have a decent chance of someone paying the 1st straight up. Hawks are more likely to add a 2nd/3rd to get a better asset then to be enticed by those types of picks.
