Hawks don't need to retain on Dickinson if they get Foegle back. Also no reason to dump Niemalainen, he can just be waived.

If he was, try each of the next three years' firsts. Two for the player, the insanely good contract, and the retention. The third to pay a Columbus tax to take the captain/franchise GP leader/center on a center-starved team. He's more valuable to the franchise than he is in a trade (which is also very high), so you've got a huge hill to get over just for the FO to consider it.
