Why are the Habs adding a pick for Johansen? Same term, small salary difference but Dvorak has been playing better than him

As the Colorado trade stands, I don't think the Avs have interest. However, if Montreal would retain half of Dvorak's salary and take a pick for the trouble (instead of giving one), I think there could be a conversation.
