Not comparing the players, but the Rangers need Trouba a lot more than they need Tavares.

NSH isn't a good enough team that they should be spending significant assets on a rental, and as good as Nylander is, this is an overpay.

Too high of a price for the Jackets to pay. Matthews doesn't make them a serious contender within the timeframe they'd be able to keep him, but Fantilli, KJ, and Jiricek could be big parts of a good playoff team 4-5 years down the line.
