I don’t think the Canucks would move Cole, but value wise the Canucks should do that

Canes pass. I really doubt Friedman's claims that the Canes thought about moving Bunting. Just doesn't make any sense to me at all. Dumping Raanta and Deangelo somewhere clears enough to get a goalie within reason if they want to without subtracting that much from the roster.

Canes aren’t moving Bunting. If they are truly desperate for cap space, which they should be if they plan for a deadline move (8mil in projected accrued cap space at the deadline), they can free up 5mil by moving Freddie and TDA is need be. Not moving Bunting, who fits in really well and is a big factor for the Canes PP being so good this year, just so they can slightly improve their goaltending.

Plus with PK playing as well as he is recently there is not as much of a pressing need for a goalie
