You sure it’s a good idea to continue trading picks? At some point Leafs are going to need more players like Knies who can play on an ELC to make this work, right? If not, might as well trade that 2026 1st too.

Blues pass. A late first and mid prospects aren't worth trading Buch

Blues just don't have any reason at this deadline or next offseason to piece off Buch. Our forward prospect pool has flourished and our only hole currently in the pipeline is top end defensive prospects (Which rightfully nobody will move).

There's not really a good reason to trade Buch assuming that the 1st included is late. Not a knock on the guys you have included, there there isn't really anyone there that fills our only need in the pipeline, and Buchnevich has been an extremely effective player for us with Thomas.
