Edmonton has their own Kovacevic in Desharnais, and ours is better. Likewise, the point to trading Ceci is to upgrade on him as a player. Nothing in that deal justifies Edmonton adding Bourgault.

Not sure NJD would have any interest in Pearson, who had negative value a couple months ago and hasn’t really done much to change that view.

The Flyers aren't giving up picks, especially a 1st. Keith Jones did an interview a few days ago stressing how excited the organization was with their top draft picks in this upcoming draft and how they are hoping to add a few more. They likely have known about the Hart situation for a while, they are happy with errson.
