Description

Risky NYR move but could it work well under the system we run.
Bruins system is a lot less skilled based and more possession and drive hard to the net for rebounds and tip-ins I feel both kakko and Goodrow would benefit more off the way we run our offence. Goodrow especially as he succeeded the most when playing on that gritty 3rd line tampa had.

With how well Monty has done with developing the rest of our younger players I’d think it’s worth a shot with Kakko even if he just becomes a defensive minded 3rd liner.

Ullmark is great but honestly don't think he'd go for that much. Gotta be either Gritsyuk or that 1st, can't see it being both.

Why would the Rangers do that? They have less than zero need for LW and they’re still retaining on Goodrow despite giving up Kakko.

Gritysuk is an interesting piece.

It really depends on how interested he is in coming over to jersey and when he plans to come over.

And I'm not privy to those kinds of conversations between organization and player.

If he's coming over next year, honestly I'd make him unavailable completely, or for nothing short of a 1st (probably an overrating of him)
If he's on the fence, or doesn't want to play in jersey, or wants to spend 3 more years in the KHL, I'd let him go much easier for like a 3rd

For the package you've offered I'd offer you a 1st+3rd+3rd, or whatever that looks like in equivalent value.
