You could remove Blais and the Blues still pass.

He's big, can skate, and loves to play physical. The room loves him. He is trying to hard on offense, but defensively, he has been okay, mostly. He just seemed prone to that one braindead mistake a game when he came in. He still makes mistakes, but it has been less painful than the beginning of the season. Been pretty good on the PK which surprised me a bit. He needs to simplify his game and just be reliable, but he's not what he was early in his career.
If someone picks him up at the deadline with retention with appropriate expectations, they'll be pretty happy, I think. If they over pay for a 25 minute guy who moves the puck, they're going to be pissed.

CBJ aren't taking a D-man back in any trade unless we're shipping two out first or getting a clear upgrade. Kuraly probably sticks around till next deadline when he's a UFA. Value is fine, but I don't think that's the move for either team this particular year.
