Jets have the cap for him so why would they retain and trade for a worse version on him who doesn't have term like he does. Explain to me why the jets should do this deal and how it makes them better.

So......Lafferty has more goals and points and can play center, is quite a bit bigger, is two years younger, makes half as much and is a righty. Yeah, thats a HARD pass.
