Remember Matheson use to be the guy who was a HUGE capdump and it would cost a team more than a 1st to move him.

Now in his worst year since 18-19 he's a "Top 4 D in his prime"

defenseman season isn't just defined by points.
He's also bleeding goals again.
He had a much better year last year, even though he was limited on the ice.
The year before that was better as well.
