That’s not low enough either. There’s no blue chip piece here that makes this worth considering. Maybe something around Tomasino + Kemell

I don't mind Novak but he has a very short track record that I'm not sure warrants a 1st. If I were Colorado and targeting him, I'd try a package of prospects and lower picks before I offered a 1st.

Zegras isn't worth any more than this. He's been a bit overrated I have found. This is around the Same that Debrincat and Chychrun got so I think it's fair and Tomasino is a great young forward with potential.

If you want a 22 year old C with back-to-back 60pt seasons under his belt, I’m sorry to break it to you, but it’s expensive. If not, trust me, all good. You’ll be hard pressed to find a single fan in ANA that wants him moved, and the locker room and coaches love him as well. Don’t get too caught up in the rumor mill of an unreliable media writer hunting for clicks (the same one who said Gibson had played his last game in ANA btw). Z isn’t on the block. Blow away ANA with an offer or it’ll just be rejected

Also: Debrincat said he wouldn’t re-sign, forcing Ottawa’s hand and taking away leverage. Chychrun was a UFA at the end of his deal
