Poulin and the second seem like a poor return for Tarasenko; the other three elements are essentially nullities. And then there's the issue of Tarasenko's NTC -- the Penguins are underdogs to reach the playoffs and the situation may only worsen between now and the trade deadline.

I'd send Tarasenko back to NYR and a 1st in return. Forget other teams garbage prospects, we have to rebuild our own farm system under anew GM. So picks are still valuable. I like the trade with Boston. But, I'd keep jospeh. He's been solid this year and we need him for the third line next yar. Most third liners nowadays with the cap increase will be $3 mill a year.
