I'll reach every Sabres fan eventually: Nevertheless, with Jiricek absolutely not being available, the Sabres could explore other options before the deadline passes.

It does, but at some point people have to just listen to the reporting and the reporting is saying that the Jackets have zero intent on moving Jiricek.
