He has an NTC but there's the threat of sending him down where this isn't the Marlies or Laval where the ahl team is in the same city, he'd have to move to Syracuse so I think he'd be more willing to waive to an nhl
I think Ferraro's internal value is probably high but I'm not sure if Mike Grier is "desperate" (not the right word but I can't think of another one) or not with the speed of the rebuild and the tanking value of his squad. Could add

Duclair level players have consistently gotten a 2nd and 4th this deadline

So Essentially that would be a 3rd, Sheary, and Thompson for Ferraro. I think they'd be very interested in Thompson, being a 6'0" RHD, projecting to maybe 2nd/3rd pairing puckmoving D. but the rest of that is not close. I can't imagine they'd deal Ferraro without a 1st being involved
