Hronek is not the type of D ottawa would want or pay this much for.

They also are not taking on more cap while still having Chychrun and Chabot on the roster

Greig isn't going anywhere. Great two way season for a rookie, and he's such a versatile player for them. Plays with heart and he's capable of setting the tone for a team that needs more of that.

Hronek is a good player, but he's weak defensively, and his ask for his next deal is beyond insane. Completely propped up by an insane, obviously unsustainable start this year that was never indicative of what he actually capable of. Not at all what Ottawa needs, especially not at this price tag.
