Edmonton will be moving Campbell for cap space, they won't want MORE salary in return. Go dump your unwanted players somewhere else.

Josh Norris doesn't even come close to that kind of return, He already has 3 busted shoulders one more and his career is likely over. Plus he makes 6 x $7,950,000 which more than likely he'll never live up to.

And I see Steven Stamkos more or less going to a young up and coming team that he can mentor. Not and aging over the hill Pens team.

In their current cap situation, the Kings need NHL-qualified youngsters on minimal contracts, which Kaliyev's new deal will be. (I'd be shocked if he gets more than $1.25 million AAV.) Trading him for picks is non-progressive.
