Vancouver would rather hold onto Garland then take that deal. Someone more desperate will offer more then a cap dump, a guy who will be fighting with McWard for ice time on the farm team. And small upgrade in picks this year. I could see Jarnkrok and 2nd round pick or prospect worth around that (or a better one where we add)

Also Zadorov doesn't like to play his offside D spot. Cole is doing that for us right now.

Chicago isn't taking Kampf back, and even if they did, a 5th isn't going to do it.

If the Leafs are willing to retain 50% on Kampf, someone will pay the Leafs for him. But if not, the Hawks probably accept that deal.
