Description

Edmonton and Detroit get significant asset packages, NYI gets Martin back for a pick swap, TML retains some to make em extra happy.
And once again Bozak with half retained for Cole and two late picks, because it makes so much sense for both teams if Toronto ponies up for a better 3C.
Toronto gets well under 50 contracts this way too. Re-sign Letestu and they have turned C into a position of real strength.

Even with Glendening and Komarov to supply some toughness in playoffs, I think the Leafs would prefer to have Martin around, especially if the Leafs are playing Boston in the first round. Also, Bozak is worth more, and we have no need for Letestu IF we are also getting Glendening, unless the Leafs get rid of Moore.

He is right...Rosen and Gauthier (and Leivo, arguably) are far better than that. They both have great futures ahead of them if they are used properly. Plus, why get Glendening when there are far better defensemen that they can get. I agree with most of the other stuff except that Bozak and Martin might be a little bit undervalued as well.

I know the leafs are looking at Glendening advanced stats and he is horrible and to be honest from what I've seen he is a Moore at twice the salary and for 3 more years. Solid trade for him though but i hope they go after a Plekanec or someone who can help truly upgrade the leafs defense.
