im guessing he wants north of 6m and an 8 years term at 5-6m. proly why EDM has not signed him yet.

on what grounds? He hasn't done nearly enough to warrant that.

If Nurse would sign for that value / term they would have signed him already....

That cap-hit gets you a 1-year deal .... maybe 2-years .... in my not so humble opinion.

His agent as much as stated no term for less than $5M/season. Expect a bridge deal soon, and possible arbitration in the future.

Nurse has had one good season. He has not earned a big money, long term contract. Bridge him; see what we have with this player, and (maybe) lock him in a couple of years.

RFAs are under club control. Any team making an offer sheet at, say, 4 million, would have to give the Oilers their first and third round pick. It’s unlikely that a team would be willing to give up that much.
