Panarin doesn't fill a need for Toronto and will get a higher pay than Nylander so the leafs cant afford him. More like Nylander for Savard ++

Panarin is better than Nylander, Nutivaara is better than Zaitsev, and Foudy and the 1st are equal. Seems like an awful trade for Columbus, unless this is purely a rental situation.

I agree horrible trade for CBJ. No need to give all that up. Nylander's trade value is tanking by the day, and Toronto can't sign him.
No need for CBJ to cough up so much for a 20 goal scorer. Panarin for Nylander straight up is as good as I would do.

Toronto gets a much much much better player for a cup run. Hell if Toronto wins the cup with him they should throw in a 1st.

You could argue Zaitsev and Nutivaara are equal in trade value. Fouldy and the 1st maybe somewhat equal. So it's this season of Panarin for this season (if) and the next four of Nylander. Sure wish folks would put a dollar figure on any Nylander contract because he's not being traded without one.
Claebom: Why wouldn't it be a rental? Couldn't be anything but.
