I wouldn't do this as a MTL fan. Suzuki have too much potential and that first will be a top 20 pick in a very deep draft. Lindholm is great but he has never reach 40 pts as an apparently untouchable Dmen... I would rater go after Gostisbehere. Or simply trade Lehkonen, Juulsen and a first for Lindholm but no Suzuki, Poehling, Brook or Romanov included. MB also told 3 weeks ago that he wouldn't trade his first or his top prospects...

Does anyone else kind of just want us to not trade any prospects and picks away for just about anyone? I kind of want to see where this goes with our own development. Not other teams already developed players for the quick fix.

I agree with this. I think we should just sell off easy pieces now, like Benn, Hudon etc and see where the team goes. Then next season you have to trade probably Petry and Tatar so you don't lose them in the expansion draft, and that opens up more roster spots when guys are a little bit more seasoned.
