It makes sense. RNH slots 1C with drouin and lehk on his wings. Now where does lucic fit??? 2RW beside Danault and patches. Or 4th line winger because the line of gally Plekanec and hudon/Byron works well so far

I like Galchenyuk but he's more a left winger and he's inconsistent on his board battles. See Strome. I'd put Nuge and Galchenyuk similar but Lucic over Shaw. Really it's just another cap saving move for us, and we all kno how those turned out... so far not so good

Looks like a pretty fair trade that neither fanbase would want to make. Kudos on that accomplishment.

No from habs Shaw's contract is more moveable than lucic (both are overpaid lucic has an extra year) and personally I think habs need to keep galchenyuk he's been through a lot in last 2 years and he's coming back around improving as the season goes on I think next year he will start the year more matured from his issues and prepared to be back on track
