Don't take this the wrong way, but C'mon man that's not even close to being a fair deal for me in the long run.
Sekera is already 31yrs old and signed for 3 more years at $5.5m who has been injured most of the year which leads me to think he may be hitting those injury prone years. Where Duclair is 22yrs old and being an RFA is certainly not going to get re-signed for anywhere near 5.5m and potentially has another 10 yrs of service left in him

Its all good, you clearly dont watch the Oilers.
Is he overpayed? Yes, but he is still a solid top-4 lhd (something your team needs). He was also out for the first part of the season because he messed up his knee in the playoffs last year after receiving a hit that would mess up most players knees. Duclair might be younger, but that doesn't necessarily mean he will be a better player. I don't mean to downplay Duclairs potential here, but his value isnt what it used to be where as Sekera is still a solid defensive option who us capable of playing top pairing minutes. Please counter if you wish or just let us know if you don't want him.
tldr; the only argument you have is that Sekera is overpayed, and if you don't want him thats fine. Just give us a yes or no.
Your pick can be recovered by redoing the spurgeon trade. Put the pick in additonal details in that trade instead of the actual pick.
It's because you traded it away and then received it back later, but the real Anaheim never moved it, and you can't trade with yourself to take it back.

System won't let me revert the trade because I no longer own the pick I traded for, which would mean having to revert 2 or more other trades just to get the proper icon on my page.

Yeah. It looks like you would have to redo the Reaves one as well (at least). Might be a hassle to get it to display.
I simply added my missing pick to my description, rather than display the wrong one.
You'll find we have to do some workarounds and adjustments because our teams don't interact with each other and some real life transactions end up impacting our rosters.

Thank you for the suggestion though. Nice to know there are other GM's here willing to help
Atkinson, Murray and a 3rd 2019 for Spurgeon and Mccarron
Gave it some extra thought overnight and not that I'm actively shopping Spurgeon but I'm always listening.
That being said, at this point if those are the guys you'd want from me, I would need at least this in return.....
David Perron + Ryan Murray + Prospect RW Kole Lind + 2019 1st rd pick
Soooooo, let me get this straight. You want me to take a 41yr old guy for Shaw AND you'd expect me to add in a pick of some kind????
I think you should be offering me a pick to take Cullen off your hands.
At least I know now that your asking prices for players is, young player PLUS a future young player via draft pick in exchange for Toronto's senior citizens.
I do need a back-up goalie, and chance Mike Palmateer is hanging around the rink.
It's really out of character for me to be so cynical, but Holy Crap how can you even begin to think that would be a fair deal for both teams. Are you related to NJD
Don't know if you're settled in enough yet, but I'm looking for a 3rd goalie and saw you shopping Miller.
I'm interested in Miller and Fiore, and it seems like you could still use Schlemko, so that would balance the cap hit for me at least.
Maybe you can make me an offer involving those 3 pieces for me to consider?

I will definitely look this over and get back to you with my thoughts. Thank you for inquiring about Miller.

Cullen has 11 points, Shaw has 8 (also just put on waivers irl). Cullen is a better player than Shaw, not sure why you think its that far off, but ok.
EDIT - Then again your 0-2 on trades so I dont know how much I value your opinion
What do you think of Jaroslav Halak as a back up goalie to replace Miller?
Also how about Justin Braun as a top 4 dman?
Unfortunately Braun plays the wrong side. If I get anyone it would have to be a LD for sure.
Mr. Braun might also be a little more expensive given his age for my comfort
