Cap dump meaning give me something and I'll take them.
Cheap meaning it won't cost a lot if they qualify as depth and are a rental.
I'd like to turn a 5th next year into a 4th, for example.
So if there's a player you want but don't have the room for, I'd probably take Ward and a 4th and give you a 5th.
Keep it in mind in case something comes up.

Yeah. I'm taking that out because it just confused people.
I'll take an 8th D or 15th forward rental as a cap dump, if I consider them at least press box level, and I won't charge an arm and a leg for the service.
Eg. Moulson = no thanks. Gorges at 50% = give me a 6th and ill give you a 7th.
I'm not going to give up assets for them, because I will be placing them on waivers until roster expansion. If Gorges was claimed, I wouldn't care, I didn't lose him for nothing. If he isn't claimed, he's only there as a cheerleader unless I need an insurance policy or he is having an amazing playoffs.

I looked at it. Value isn't the issue, Fowler is just too important to my team to consider moving (unless it's for a clear upgrade).
Krug might put up more points, but pairing him with either Subban or Petry would be a disaster.

Just a reminder that you have until the end of Tuesday, March 5 to complete negotiations with regarding your RFAs. This is the only window to extend RFAs until the offseason. There will be no limit to how many RFAs you extend or regulation on AAV. Any RFA with a NMC will not be tradeable until one year after the contract kicks in (exact dates TBA).
