All is well with your other deals, though I think Bozak ends up in Pittsburgh, but my comment is about the JVR deal. If the Leafs were trading him to the Devils, I think a reasonable return would be their 2018 1st round draft pick and Michael McLeod. Also, just based on the fact that they are in the same conference, I am not sure the Leafs would deal with the Devil (hahahaha).

I would be shocked if they got a first round pick for him

Remember the haul the Coyotes got for Hanzal last year? Expect it to be something like that

No way he gets 2nd let alone a 1st AND a prospect. Also what kind of back woods thinking do you have thinking JVR and Bozie are the same value?!?!?

He plays center terribly and he's been kicked out of the face off more times then he's won a face off... not to mention he's lost in his own zone and on offence couldn't score with a twine seeking missle. Leafs would be lucky to get a 7th for him let alone a 2nd. Either way though, still doesn't explain the fact that he magically has the same value as JVR who is crushing it in points this season (even though EVERYTHING else has been god awful this year).

I'll agree with that the Leafs aren't contenders but playoff teams don't just sell off for that reason. Part of the growth of a young team is to make the playoffs and trying do well. Trading regulars at would send the wrong message to the team and really hurt their development. Do all 24 teams that are contenders, trade all their upcoming UFAs now? Maybe last October they should have do it.

They will never get a 5th for polak or a 2nd for bozak

neither of them are worth that

Bergevin getting taken to the cleaners on every trade has hindered your ability to judge trade value. All of these trades are realistic. You're clearly a troll. Habs suck haha

JVR gets the Leafs more than Evander Kane gets the Sabres, and you best believe Kane is getting a return of at least 1st and a top prospect. I do not think the Leafs trade JVR though.

They won't trade him. Which is terrible asset management but whatever...

JVR wont be traded but if he was it would be for at least a first plus. Guy is a consistent 25-30 goal scorer, 60 points every year. However unless something radical changes. leafs keep him for run and try to keep him this summer. Bozak I could easily see going to Pittsburgh Ian Cole ande a pick. I think a 2nd is pretty good in terms of value.Poak will get you a 5th at most, and Komorov don't be surprised if he only nets you a 4th or rides off into the summer UFA style.
